Victor Loviera:

I must agree with everyone...this event ROCKED!!!!! Cory, Jennifer, Ruth, Gayle and Katie...you guys were amazing....what a concept....an event with a lot of dancing and NO DRAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kudos to all of the novice/newbie dancers for coming out!!! It was also nice to see Tim Auclaire, Val LaFamina and Dale Ruggly...all champion dancers that I have not seen for many, many, many years!!!!

I can't wait for next year...this is an event that will get better and better!!!

Judy Wooten:
Just a note to thank you and your wonderful crew for a very pleasant weekend.  I don't get that very often and it was a nice change for me to have no responsibility.  T
he event was a great success and you and your staff should be very proud of the success you attained for your first event.  I hope you many years of success and great accomplishments in the future.  Again - I had a wonderful time.  Thanks so much
Jan Altman:
JUST WANTED TO LET EVERYONE KNOW WHAT A WONDERFUL WEEKEND MMISTL WAS. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!  HAVING CHAIRED COMPETITIONS IN THE PAST, I KNOW WHAT HARD WORK, LONG HOURS, AND PLAIN OLD SWEAT WENT INTO MAKING THE WEEKEND HAPPEN. CORY, YOU DID A MAGNIFICENT JOB!!!!!!!!!!! THE WHOLE REBELS BOARD PULLED TOGETHER AND HELPED PULL OFF A REAL COUP. I CAN HARDLY WAIT FOR NEXT YEAR.  EVERYONE I SPOKE WITH, OUT OF TOWNERS AND LOCALS HAD NOTHING BUT PRAISE FOR THIS EVENT.   MANY SAID IT WAS THE BEST THEY HAD EVER BEEN TO AND WOULD BE COMING BACK NEXT YEAR...
MaryKay Lauck:
I think that MMISL was a wonderful event! I have nothing but good to say . The girls worked their butts off and if there were any problems they kept them from being seen. Steve and I ran an event for 6 years and we know what really goes on and ours was only a one nighter. I commend everyone that was involved and I want to thank whomever it was that had the idea to have an Imperial division the first year...I hope everyone had as good of time as I did. I also wanted to shoot a bit of praise to my husband as he had a long and tedious job with the tallying of scores.  Job well done by all! Can't wait till next year.

Ross Behrens:
Meet me in St. Louis was an outstanding success and everyone connected with this event deserves to feel proud of the results of their efforts.  Generally I heard only praise for the event.  The one area of consistent complaint was AJ's, site of the Thursday  night pre-dance party. Everyone with whom I spoke complained that AJ's floor was too small for the crowd and that the pre-dance party should have been held in the main ballroom.  Many people also felt that Champion/All Stars was too important and entertaining to be relegated to Sunday afternoon and should have been showcased on Saturday night. I agree with both observations. However, these are trivial complaints and do not detract from the overall impact of a splendid event.
Pam Reynolds:
I was an event manager for IBM, and I  know what it takes to put on an event like MMISL.  They did a fabulous job...
Sherry Martin:
I AM GRATEFUL FOR A WONDERFUL EVENT IN ST. LOUIS AND FOR ALL THE HARD WORK EVERYONE DID. I WISH THERE WERE MORE ST. LOUIS PEOPLE FROM THE OTHER CLUBS WHO WERE OPEN ENOUGH TO GIVE THIS EVENT A TRY AND TO EXPERIENCE THE WONDERFUL FREE WORKSHOPS OFFERED...

Dawn DeGrushe:
You DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB!!!!!!!!!  No one can understand how hard it is to put on a four day event, or a 3 day party (rolling) or just a "crazy" launch (STLRebels) until they have tried it.  There was no one person in power in any of these proceedings, it was the conglomeration of many many peoples, ideas, implementation and the ability to have an open mind while doing it.  I will say it again and again, YOU ASKED TO DO IT WITH THE PROMISE TO MAKE US ALL PROUD,   AND YOU DID.........END OF STORY!!!!  I had goose bumps all weekend, I was in awe to the point of tears so many times and most of all I felt what Joe Ray felt, you gave St. Louis its "gold medal" back.......you put St. Louis back on the map and I am honored to have been a part of it!  Thank you for taking this on, having a tough skin (keep that up) and I can't wait til see what's up your little sleeves for next year!!!!!!
Stan Bennett:
MMISL was a great success. I don't know the breakdown of the numbers, but I know that there were a large percentage of dancers from out of town in attendance.  It is very difficult to accommodate every persons tastes in music, especially when there are over 400 opinions in the same room. I think all of the DJ's did a good job and that Bill Cameron's sound system was the bomb!...St Louis people were very friendly and I saw many dancers asking people they didn't know to dance. the social side of this event was awesome.  To all of the organizers, I will say a huge thanks. I know first hand what it takes behind the scenes to keep an event running. You can all be very proud of your efforts.  Overall impression of MMISL: Put it on your calendar for next year, for sure.
Maria Blackwell:
I give MMISL a high TEN (that's two fives <grin>) and a victory dance...
Joe Ray:
A really tough job was done VERY well. I don't know how many of you have any idea how much goes into running an event, much less a first time event, but it's a huge undertaking. These girls have run themselves ragged for a few months now and in my book they have earned a glowing assessment. The list of details to attend to is endless. The actual weekend of the event is actually just the tip of the iceberg. But, in the end, all that matters is how your product comes out on the event weekend. Very few there know or care the thousands of hours that went on before .... just what product did you bring to the table.  A Bop event is a huge undertaking, a competition event is double that. Well done all .... THANK YOU!

This event was Awesome!! This is going to be on my schedule for next year fo sho!!

- The FLOOR WAS AWESOME!! LoL!
- I finally got to see what imperial swing was.
- I loved the cups that were given in the beginning of the event (drinks)
- The music was sweet, especially the slow blues that I got in finals
- The event coordinators were the friendliest people in the world
- The hotel was located right next to some awesome places to eat
- They support "juniors" so next year I get to bring the bro

Overall, this event was like a huge party and the people throwing it were the coolest hosts that you could ever ask for. I give it two thumbs up!

Laura Christopherson~
This event ROCKED!!!!

For a first year event - they really put on a great show

Saturday night they had over 500 people in attendance!!!!!

The pros were fabulous and we had LOTS of birthday's to celebrate over the weekend (Kellese; Ilona; Jimmy; and Jason Miklic's!!!)

The parties were never ending - the workshops well done and the contests on-time.

Kudo's to everyone who helped pull this event together!!! You MUST put this on your to-do list for next year!!!!!!
